Reservations
Reservations are subject to availability and pricing at the time of booking.
Your booking will only be confirmed if a valid credit card is provided at the time of booking and must be valid for the duration of your reservation.
Payment
Full payment will be processed on the credit card provided 24 hours prior to your arrival (from 2.00pm the day before your booking)
We accept the following payment methods:
- Mastercard - surcharges apply
- Visa - surcharges apply
- AMEX - Surcharges apply
By providing valid credit card details you authorise the Young Federation Motor Inn to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the event of cancellation or no-show.
If payment is being made with another party’s credit card, written authority must be provided by the cardholder.
Cancellation
A minimum of 24 hours' notice (before 2.00pm the day before arrival) must be given in writing (by email) to avoid cancellation fees.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival check-in time (2.00pm)– a fee of the first night accommodation will be charged.
Refunds will not be given once guest has checked in or if guest departs early
Special Payment and Cancellation Conditions for National Cherry Festival weekend
Full payment for your booking will be due 2 weeks prior.
Any cancellations up until 48 hours prior to arrival, penalty is 50% of total amount of stay.
If cancelled within 48 hours of arrival, the booking is 100% non-refundable
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted. Except in the case of an assistance dog, in which case documentation may be requested showing that the Assistance Dog is qualified, accredited, and serving the person they are with.
Smoking
All rooms are non-smoking. Penalties will be charged to guests who smoke in rooms. (see below)
Additional Fees and Charges
Fees chargeable to guests account in addition to accommodation include, and are not limited to:
- Any meals or drinks charged to the room
- Cost of repair or replacement for general damage or theft of motel property
- Fees for any additional cleaning required beyond the standard check-out clean. Fees start at $100, depending on the amount of additional cleaning required
- Smoking in rooms - $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged
Check-In/Out
Standard check-in time is 2.00pm. For guaranteed arrival prior to 2.00pm, a room must be reserved from the previous night and therefore includes an additional nightly charge.
Standard check-out time is 10.00am Late check-out up to 11.00am at the discretion of the Motel manager and must be requested the night before check-out. Fees may be incurred.
Group Bookings
A group booking is when 10 or more rooms are booked by one party.
A 50% deposit is required within 7 days of making the booking.
The balance is due 14 days prior to arrival.
The following cancellation penalties apply:
• Up to 14 days prior to arrival - forfeit of 50% deposit
• Less than 14 days prior arrival - 100% penalty of all rooms booked
Visitors and Noise Restrictions
Visitors to hotel rooms are not permitted after 10.00pm. Guests are expected to always respect other guests and be quiet between 10pm-7am. No group congregations in individual guest rooms are permitted or tolerated. Immediate eviction with no refund applies to any breaches of this policy.
Child Policy
Infants under 2 years– no charge. We do not provide portable cots.
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
The property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID,when requested on check-in.
Fires and Cooking
Candles, open flames or cooking are not permitted in motel rooms.
Due to Fire regulations, Management must be aware of number of guests in rooms.
Should the Fire Alarm be activated, the cost of Emergency Services attending, will be charged to the guest.
Left Property
It is the responsibility of the guest to contact the property to arrange the return or collection of any personal items left behind after check-out. Any items unclaimed after 4 weeks will be disposed of.
Liability Young Federation Motor Inn takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of its guests. However, the management is not responsible for personal injuries, loss, theft, or damage to property while on the premises.
Privacy and Data Protection Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information provided on this website will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent unless required by law.

Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales.
